British Airways has taken in-flight luxury to the next level by becoming the first airline to serve prestige cuvée English sparkling wine onboard. This exciting update is part of a larger plan to enhance premium experience on British Airways flights, especially in First Class and Club World (Business Class) on long-haul international flights.

New Wines in British Airways Flights

From March 30, passengers in British Airways First Class can enjoy 1086 by Nyetimber Rosé 2014, a top-tier English sparkling wine known for its rich flavors and fine bubbles. Later in the year, more prestigious wines will be served, including 1086 by Nyetimber 2014, the first English prestige cuvée ever made.

The selection continues with Gusbourne’s Fifty-One Degrees North 2016 joining the British Airways First Class wine list in July. A new wine crafted by renowned winemaker Dermot Sugrue will be introduced in January 2026.

British Airways Flights Business Class Gets Upgrade

Travelers in Club World will also enjoy a refreshed British Airways Business Class wine list. Passengers can look forward to a rotating list of high-quality English sparkling wines. Starting now, Digby Fine English’s Brut NV will be available, followed by Gusbourne’s 2019 Vintage Rosé in July.

In October, British Airways will serve Hattingley Valley’s Blanc de Noirs, made exclusively for the airline. In 2026, the airline will add Roebuck’s Reserve Brut 2020 and Digby’s Leander Pink Brut NV to its selection.

If you’re visiting London Heathrow Terminal 5, you can start your wine journey even before you board. In Galleries First Lounge, travelers can enjoy a wine-tasting area featuring Balfour Rosé de Noirs and Simpsons Chalklands Cuvée Brut NV.

To make the wine service truly special, over 1,300 crew members have completed training through the British Airways wine club program. This includes wine masterclasses designed by the airline’s Master of Wine, so passengers receive knowledgeable, top-tier service.

Passengers will be served famous labels like Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle, Lanson NOBLE 2008, and Bollinger La Grande Année 2015 throughout the year. Starting in 2026, wines like Rare Champagne and Charles Heidsieckv Blanc des Millénaires will be added.

These upgrades are part of British Airways to enhance the passenger experience. From new cabins to refreshed lounges in cities like Dubai and Miami, the airline is focusing on making every journey memorable.
